Zee,
No disrespect intended, but I have been reading this thread and it seems as if everyone has tried to be very helpful and patient in answering your questions. You seem to have a little trouble grasping what people are telling you. You might be a visual learner and the DVD might be great INVESTMENT. I bought it and found it to be very helpful on rep speeds and there is a lot of other useful information. I have gone back and watched it several times and picked up some new info each time I have viewed it. It also serves as amotivational tool as well.
I don't want this to come out wrong, but if you were to hire a personal trainer for just one session, it would cost more than the DVD. Also, I noticed in this months Iron Man magazine that there is an offer that if you subscribe to Iron Man for 1 year, you can get the DVD for free. Just make sure if you pick up an issue of IM then you find the reply card with this offer in the magazine.

I am not sure where you live, but IM cost about $28 for a year and the DVD is $20 plus shipping which cost about $11 so the total was $31 for the DVD with shipping. You can get some good info from IM magazine and the DVD as a bonus. I also read that you can dowload the digital version of the DVD for $19.95.
Again, I think of it as an investment. I pay $20 a month for gym membership, $40 a month for supplements, and who knows how much on "good" food. So, $31 isn't a lot when I look at the years of benefit I am going to get from purchasing the DVD.
As a side note, I have purchased a couple of other bodybuilding DVD's (not going to mention names) and didn't get nearly as much useful information as I did out of Eric's. It is the training system that makes the most sense to me. In a short period of time I have started to see some very good results. I had been at a sticking point for quite some time. I truly believe it will take my physique to the next level.

I use the DVD as a refresher all the time. It helps to pause it when the workouts and rep ranges are listed and study those sheets. Good luck with it!

Hi I am planning to start the P/RR/S program. I have bought the DVD and the e-book for this program. After reading the e-book and watching the DVD I have noticed both have different rest times and Tempo written which has kind of confused me and need to know what is the accurate rest time between sets on power week, rep range, plus Tempo is.
Let me give you an example the e-book says rest 4-5mins for power week on chest and Biceps and rest 2-3mins rep range week. The DVD says to rest 4mins on chest and 3 mins on biceps on power week and for rep range week it says to rest 3mins on some and 2 mins on some exercises. So really this is what has gotten me confused.
If you could call the Rest time out loud for me. Or I could just follow the basic template rest time given there. Which says to take 4-5 minutes on power week and 2-3 minutes on Rep range week. Also with the tempo the e-book says to do a 3/0/x tempo for squats on power week and the free template says use 4/0/X tempo on power week squats and the DVD says use 3/0/x tempo for power week squats. What Tempo should I be following guys?
I will choose my favorite exercises below.
Please check out my layout below it will work:
Power week
Chest n Biceps
Chest EXERCISE SETS REPS TEMPO REST 1-Bench Press: 2-Incline Dumbbell Press: 3-Weighted Dips
Biceps SETS REPS TEMPO REST EXERCISE Barbell curls Dumbbell preacher curls Hammer curls
Legs SETS REPS TEMPO REST EXERCISE Squats Leg press Single leg extension Stiff legged dead lift Calves
Back SETS REPS TEMPO REST EXERCISE Dead lifts Bent rows Weighted chin-ups Close grip seated row
Delts n Triceps SETS REPS TEMPO REST EXERCISE Military press Upright row Cheat side lateral
Triceps SETS REPS TEMPO REST EXERCISE Close grip bench press Skull crushers Single arm dumbbell extension

For most people, a 3-4 minute rest on power week works best, but for others they may need up to 5 minutes between sets of "big" exercises like squats and deadlifts...while on an exercise like BB curls 3 minutes should be enough. On RR week 2-3 minutes between sets should be plenty depending on how demanding the movement is. As for tempo, for most power week exercises go for a 4/0/X tempo. This may be very hard on exercises like BB rows, for example, so drop these to 3/0/X. You can experiment just a bit and decide what is best for you on certain exercises.

Hi thanks for your reply. I will use 5 minutes for bench, squats, deadlifts. As for tempo, I will use 4/0/X on power week.
As for running this P/RR/s prgram do you think it ok to train legs before chest, Like my split below:
Sat-legs sun-chest/bi's mon-off tue-back wed-delts/tri's thurs-off friday-off
As I did read somewhere that training legs before a day chest will make you chest strength weaker, Not sure bout that though.
Thanks
