8/7/08
About 2 hours of basketball for cardio. I've been seriously dragging lately and I don't know why so i've decided to cut out any weights until I get back from vacation and see what's up come then. Maybe it's the lack of MELTDOWN since that seemed to get me through the day while dieting and being seriously carb depleted.

Back from vacation and now it's time to pick it up again come Monday. I've been sick the past few days so we'll see how that goes. No excuses though! I got my much needed week of rest so now it's time to kick it up a notch again.

Make sure you fully recover from being sick bro... otherwise, with the way you train, you'll be down again with the same lingering sickness. ROCK IT! [glow=red,2,300]T[/glow]

afterwards i ran a timed mile @ 7:22... not great but no excuses.
Notes: I had a half day of coaching football and was so dehydrated i had a headache (I don't get headaches) throughout my workout. I'll have to drink more water this week at least i learned that on the easiest day with only one practice.
tomorrow's agenda since i'll be pressed for time will be speed/agility drills and abs. Possibly a few sprints seeing how the legs feel, however leg day will be on Wednesday this week so i may just X the sprints.

9/9/08
Just an update on my training... It's going well been running around coaching hs football so i'm still a bit busy trying to get this season under way on the right foot in a week and a half.
Actually I lifted legs for the first time today (went fairly light) didn't have any problems, until i got to step-ups and the hamstrings felt tight but after the first set they were fine and had no problems.
Other than that i'm in my third week of Power right now with shoulders slated for tomorrow and back/biceps for friday. as i said i'm going to do the short bursts for three weeks followed by an FDFS week so i'll try to get back in here as often as possible to let you guys know my feelings about this. for now i'm loving it (obviously due to power week being my favorite) but i'm sure it will all go well and I will see SERIOUS results from this awesome system!

i'm keeping all my records, just don't have the time to post on here all that often anymore... i finished my three power weeks and am in the middle of an FDFS week before i start my 3 RR weeks... so far so good... weights are going up in everything which is never a bad thing!
at the end of it all I hope to have a bit of a write-up on how it went

I stepped on the scale today (Pants, shirt, cell phone, keys) and i weighed 200 lbs! This is the first time I have ever weighed 200. I know it's nothing to get excited about since i weigh about 190-192 next to nude in the mornings... but it was the first time I have ever seen a scale reach 200 with me standing on it. The thing about it is that I still feel and look good so the system i'm using must just be simply amazing and big ups to Eric for that one! My diet could be better and I notice a bit more pudge in the mid section, but its football season and I don't eat all that well cause I'm out of the house most of the day, but I try a little bit. Just wanted to let you all know about that little goal of mine that had started about a month and a half 2 months pre-VPX contest

well here i find my journal down at the bottom of the page... so just to let you all know what's going on with me i'm having a hard time finding ample time to train. I'm in the middle of coaching football so between working in the morning, coaching in the afternoon, school at nights I really only get to train twice a week... i get a good run in on sunday mornings when i play flag football and usually tuesday nights i play basketball... and a moderate run every day at practice... one of my players wants to play college ball so once the season's over i'm going to hit the weights hard with him and get him fast and huge... so until december my training will have to stay at 2 days a week occasionally three depending on how the week with school is going. My journal will be up full force in december
