Hello all! I'm 48, 6'8" 253lbs. and I live in a small Northern Indiana town. I have a great little gym where I work out about 5 days a week. I've lifted quite a few years, through my college days and then 8 years of professional basketball. I took about 2 years off of everything in 1993 after I retired from playing to let my body heal and have a good time. My weight ballooned to 285, so I thought I better get back to work in 1996. I found P/RR/S at ironmagazine and I have been using it's principles for about a year now. I'm currently in my last 9 week cycle (shock) and then it's a week of some light stuff.
Since using P/RR/S I've blown through many PR's. I'm much stronger now than when I was in my prime playing. Bench 310lbs. I deadlift and squat also, but I've got to watch what I do there since my knees have very little cartiledge left in them after multiple surgeries.
Anyway I'm glad I found this site and am looking forward to learning much more.
