Hey. Where does everyone get their egg whites from? I mean you can't really seperate the yolk from the white in eggs can you? And if so that seems like a huge waste to me. So much goodness...

That's exactly what I do. Much more economical doing it that way, although it is more convenient to order straight egg whites, it doesn't justify the difference in cost to me.

isn't there a company called EGG WHITES? They are crazy expensive though. At krogers you can get pastuerized egg whites that you can cook or add to juice or whatever. They are for a decent price.

So it's cheaper just to buy lots of eggs and seperate the egg whites?

I use an egg white separater which I bought at bed, bath and beyond. It makes it pretty easy. Eggs are about $1.46 for 18 right now. Not too expensive. Plus, I like to include 1 or 2 yolks. They are supposed to contain some healthy fats.

I just break down and buy the liquid egg white cartons - Crystal Farms All Whites 100% Liquid Egg Whites. As do I. I eat up to 24 whites per day and do not have time to separate that many...nor the patience!

I have crunched the numbers again and again bro - it just doesn't compute in my head why someone would rather empty their wallet to avoid cracking a shell and doing the 'yolk shuffle!' Coincidentally... eggs are among ( if not thee) highest source of L-Leucine; which of course makes them not only an economical, readily available, quick preparable (made that up), and high biologically available food source... but also demonstrated through a battery of related studies to increase protein synthesis. Egg White's International and Lana's ( if she is even still in business) capitalize off of laziness far as I'm concerned.
