Hello Everyone, I just read sixthsense's post on bb.com forums about P/RR/S and I must say I really want to try it out , I've been cuttin for 9 weeks now using a regular 5 day spit and 5 days of HIIT cardio after weights .
Do cutting and P/RR/S work well ? I am on a 1800-2000 calorie diet atm. I am 24yrs old, 1.80 mts , 81kgs and around 13 % BF , my main goal is to drop to 9% bf over the next 12-16 weeks .

Yup! PRRS is set up so you gain LEAN muscle mass and not fat along with it, you LOSE a ton of fat while you're training while at the same time gaining serious mass. Of course, your diet and cardio have to be on point too, and I find that using all of Eric's tools, his diet for me specifically (he's known as the Sixth Sense, he does a different diet and different plan for everyone and it's magical, it works for ALL of us) is the way to go. I got SO ripped at my very first try with PRRS and I NEVER thought I'd be that lean in my life. (I'm a woman). I was around 8% body fat or even lower. All doing only 20-30 minutes of cardio walking slowly on the treadmill. It works!

Ditto...PRRS is a great training system for any goals that you have. Even when cutting, PRRS will help you hold on to your hard-earned muscle. Like with everything else, though, make sure you have your nutrition, cardio, supplements and sleep in check in order to maximize its effectiveness. Good luck and let me/us know if you have any questions. We are here to help!

Better yet just hire him to design everything for you. It's beyond worth it. You'll reach and EXCEED your goals in very little time. Dude I know I sound like an infomercial for Eric and PRRS and FD/FS but seriously if you got a whole program you'd look like you'd never thought you could ever look without KILLING yourself in the gym or at a diet. From 13% to 9% with Eric's help? In a month!

I have a question concerning about exactly when would you suggest is probably the most optimal time to do cardio, what do you suppose is best (approx. time-of-day) to do it? I am sure most of us have been in the know about before upon rising is best to perform cardio from a fasted state but how does this differ with a P/RR/S cycle, I ask this because I am doing the main template (4-day split) maybe by spreading 8-12 hours apart from weight training is a good idea as so you don't interfere with the muscle building process during the important pre and post-workout time periods and then do P/RR/S workouts later in the afternoon? I realize that if you do cardio directly before training you will reduce muscle energy stores which will have a negative impact on your strength and limit the amount of overload you can achieve during your workout. Since I'm already so used to performing a 3-day split, and then do all my cardio workouts between resistance training days I suppose then I will adjust by doing my cardio in a fasted stated, I'll definitely be sipping on some good old' bcaa's during it, and then just wait until later in the day to perform the P/RR/S workout with everything all spaced apart. You know what they say it is usually from just a little bit of change is all it takes to take the staleness from a dullard expression....lol
