Hey Guys, I just wondered, i've always trained chest and triceps together, but looking around most people train chest & Biceps Together, would it be more beneficial for me to train chest & bi's together??? Here is my current Split. day1: Chest & Tri's day2: Back & Bi's day3: rest day4: Shoulders & Quads day5: Hams & Calves day6:rest Is that a good split to use??? I dont like resting too much so i run a 6 day week, or should i have 2 days off for the 7th day??? Thanks for any advice

Thanks for any advice I personally prefer chest/bis over chest/tris, as my tris are usually exhausted after training chest while the biceps remain fresh. The back is a very large bodypart that I like to train on its own. Shoulders and tris work well together. As for rest...better to rest if your main goal is building muscle. However, if you are trying to get lean and build muscle then some running is ok.

Hey eric, read alot about you on bodybuilding.com, read your ironman articles, people worship you man. I'm definately going to change it around then, because i've found my triceps are always a last thought after chest, and so are biceps after back, so if i do shoulders and tri's it should help me alot. Being on a ship, and working full time its hard to fit things into rest days but i'll start doing CV, mixing it up with rowing, bike and running, in a 3 rest day sequence. And what is the difference between BCAA's and EAA's? DO they not contain the same thing, except EAA's have L-Glutamine??? Should i take ZMA??? Sorry for all of the questions, but im quite new to this, been training a year but with hardly any supps. Should i take creatine too??? I heard it causes water retention and you lose effects after finishing it, so i went off taking it a bit. Thanks

sup everyone, i have a question on working out chest using the p/rr/s system. unfortunately chest is my weakest muscle group, and i mean weak. i've tried it all i think, drop sets, ascending/descending, fst-7, and nothing. i've started to touch it up on shoulder day with 2 exercises with high reps to see if that works. can you guys give me a good chest routine to use? this is my current split:
sunday-back monday-chest tuesday-arms wed-quads thurs-delts friday-hams
i'm currently 4 weeks out from a show so any help will be greatly appreciated and i will carry all info into my off-season which i will need help on as well. this is the first time i'm doing all my prep and off-season by myself. i'm currently doing carb cycling, i'm weighing 207 at 5'11, i know it isnt much at all, i should be carrying more muscle but thats what i'm hoping to accomplish this off-season. i'm doing a cycle of 150g of carbs for lows, 250g for medium and 350 for highs. sunday is a medium, mon & tues are lows, wed is my high, thurs-saturday is back to lows. i'm doing one hour of cardio, 30 in the morning, 30 post workout. mon-wed-fri i run in the morning, tues and thurs 30 mins on the stepmill. all other cardio sessions are done post workout on the stepmill for 30 mins. should i cut the running out 2 weeks before? should i cut the stepmill 2 weeks out as well and jump on something that impacts the legs less?

Are you sure your form is correct? Are you setting your torso correctly for presses/flyes? 2. If you are lean enough, then yes...cut the running and then the step mill as you move closer. If you still have bodyfat to lose then keep those in. As a natural your # 1 concern is conditioning!

Not if compete in the inbf they added a mass round and are telling competitors there trying to get away from it turning into a dieting competition. As a natural organization they should pick the leanest dryest competitor and theyre not it's turning into the npc softer fuller look!
