as it happens to most of us at the gym, restaurants, or pretty much anywhere. we always get asked what we eat and how much of it. some people ask how much protein and carbs we take in, while others ask how many calories a day we have. which one do most of you guys use or do you use both of them? i personally use both but maybe a bit differently than most. for example, if i'm using 2 scoops of protein powder thats 24g per scoop, then thats 96 calories for me. whatever food i'm calculating i use it's main source as my guideline, so if i'm calculating oatmeal i only calculate the caloric carb value, with chicken i only calculate it's caloric protein value and so on. meal example: 1/2 cup of oatmeal is 25g of carbs= 100 calories 2 scoops of protein powder (24g/scoop) total 48g of protein=192 calories is this how you guys do it also or do you use a different method. please explain.
