Hang in there, bronco. You'll be happy you took the time off. Plus, a lot of people grow faster with that little extra time off. Maybe it's a good thing

thanks i just hope i can come back at a 100% and not have this become a lagging injury that ruins my progress. i think the time off is well needed. sometimes you dont realize how hard you push yourself with no time to rest. well hopefully monday i can get back to my workout. im gunna take it slow for the first week back to see how it feels.

Sorry to hear that brother! Unfortunately when we push our bodies to the extreme each and every workout, eventually injuries will come with the territory.
I have had countless injuries. Some of them, doctors said would end my bodybuilding career, how-ever they did not, thanks to some of the unconvential therapies I've tried. I don't know if you've ever tried accupuncture before? I know many people are freaked out by getting needles jabbed in them like a voodoo doll, but it isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. I had severve ulnar nerve damage in my right arm as a result of competing as a pro-arm wrestler years ago. I had lost feeling and function in the muscles of my hand and forearm. The neurologist I went to, said that the nerve was damaged to the point that it would never recover, and that my days of lifting heavy were pretty much over. After undergoing a few accupuncture treatments, I regained full function, and feeling in my hand and forearm. Since then, I had used accupture to treat various strains and sprains and have had amazing results. Of course, we do what we can to prevent injuries, but like I said, when you push your body to the extremes, time and time again, eventually you will sustain some type of injury no matter how careful you are.
I wish you all the best with your recovery! Good luck!
