It's very quiet around here and i seem to be asking too much questions,haha. Here it is, the tempo for RR week is 2/1/2 yes? I understand it means 2seconds up and 2seconds down but I'm not sure as to what the 1second is for.
Both the eccentric and concentric portion of each rep should take 2 seconds to complete, while the mid-point of the movement (isometric contraction) should be held for one full second.
Can anyone explain to me what the isometric contraction is? is it the part of the exercise where the target muscle is fully contracted?

Its never TOO many questions. Feel free..whatever you need.
As for the tempo, the first # is the negative, the 2nd is the pause at the bottom/top (depending on the exercise), the 3rd is the contraction.
