Just wondering what you guys do after AM cardio. I get up at the CRACK ass of dawn and do session 1 of 2 of my cardio. Right after I'm done I'm usually torn if i should EAT solid food or smash a shake? Since I do cardio on an empty stomach I guess I need a shake cause my body is still kinda in FASTING mode from the sleep and it needs nutrients asap. So what I do is I take my 2 scoops of NECTAR Straw/Kiwi (thanks coach!) and 1/2 cup of oatmeal after cardio and I call that meal 1, then meal is is 2 hrs later, then I'm back on the 2.5 to 3 hr eating schedule. Is this considered right?

Since I am doing my main cardio PM, you think I should let my stomach fast a little rather than eating a pre-cardio meal? With my schedule and trying to eat in the windows I get off work around 5:15. I'm at the gym in 30 minutes (freakin traffic!!) then cardio. My last meal before going is usually between 4-430. Thoughts?

Thanks Eric. This morning I did an empty stomach cardio session for an hour and ten minutes, then replenished with my Nitronx. I'm told to stop the Nitronx once I'm out of it since the guy I work with doesn't want my carb sources coming from shakes. What's your take?

Blade, I'm not Eric, but I'd have to agree with dropping teh NitronX. The powder/liquid carbs have to be higher GI and will raise insulin more.
BTW, when I did PM cardio I always did it 1.5 hours after a protein/fat only meal and timed it so that when I was done w/ the cardio, it was time for my next protein/fat only meal.
At the moment I'm doing cardio immediately post workout, but I'm sipping on BCAA's/Glut mix during my workout and cardio.
