Even if you are without a whey powder, you should be consuming some protein from other sources. For example, egg whites are usually a popular choice for breakfast.

does it need to just be whites what about scrambled eggs ? It depends! Are you looking to simply add "bulk" or do you want to gain muscle with little to no added body fat?

I always have have some protein(whey isolate) and a fat source(almonds) before training. The One turned me on to this and it has worked wonders.!

Richie, The One may disagree with me (and set me straight here...), but unless you're in a contest diet, I'd have 1-3 yolks with your whites. The fat in teh yolk doesn't increase cholesterol and it is not readily stored as fat. In fact, it can help to naturally increase test. Keep your carbs low though. If you're eating high carb - I'd stick with WHITES ONLY.

Recently I've been eating 5 whole eggs for breakfast most mornings. My carbs are very low though. I'm almost at my contest weight, I may cut out the yolks in a few weeks but it seems to be working right now.
Yeah, Richie I would definitely include some form of protein at every meal!
