Having transformed (through education and necessity) over the years from a lab rat of monumental proportions self-testing ever latest and greatest supplement available, to the frugal industry-aware and overwhelmingly food reliant bodybuilder that I am today, it is rare for me to advocate supplement use (aside from my noted belabored affection for VPX's Stealth, which is incomparable). However, BCAA's, being the liberated readily bio-available anabolic faction of protein, could be widely debated as a 'supplement' per-se by the evolved definition and standards that term represents today; nonetheless I am here to cast a vote of confidence, and offer some direction on this mighty powder. For the most part, we all know each other here and go back for years, so I hope it goes without saying or an accompanying disclaimer that this endorsement of sorts is purely honest and sincere, and I in no way profit from the sell of this product. A very good and long standing friend of mine began his own supplement company, MUSCLEBASIX, and having a degree in business AND an expansive knowledge base regarding bodybuilding and fitness/nutrition, his first product release was the branched chain variety of that anabolic sequence of amino's we love so much! The product is produced exclusively in a GMP certified facility, the prices are without exaggeration unbeatable, and the clinical studies and research proving the overt undeniable positive efficaciousness of this supplement is so staggering that I wouldn't have enough remaining characters left in this post to even skim the surface... Suffice it to say this supplement is and should be a hallmark and mainstay of your supplement cabinet, and you can read more and even purchase directly from his company website: www.musclebasix.comPlease let me know if you have any questions Attachments:

BCAA's are where it is at.....I have been using the MuscleBASIX myself and I have noticed a difference in recovery time, strength, endurance, and stamina. PLus they are at the highest quality, powder feels like silk! If I could I would have that stuff IV'd directly into my system constantly! Like Bain from Batman...minus being radioactive ;D....or maybe...

BCAAs
I still don't fully understand this supplement.
Biotest website with their BCAA claimed that one of their experienced bodybuilders/trainer only eat 3 meals a day and in between those meals a HUGEEE dose of BCAAs. He does this when he diets down as they claim.
anyway, I've runned out of Glutamine and still have alot of BCAAs left from Trueprotein. I'm gonna see what BCAAs does to me ALONE for a few weeks.

Ivan, what do you think of
EAA vs. BCAA?
i don't know much about EAA but people say it increases protein synthesis above basal level

EAA's are just the essentials which include the BCAA's in them and are also what you get out of your food and whey protein....BCAA's increase protein synthesis, muscle recovery, muscle stamina, and muscular endurance. L-Leucine is the most studied out the three found in BCAA's because it is the key amino that increases protein synthesis. But in my opinion both can be essentially used. I would use the EAA's during training. just my 2 cents.

Ivan, what do you think of EAA vs. BCAA? i don't know much about EAA but people say it increases protein synthesis above basal level I wouldn't pit them against each other - they each contain intrinsic properties that make them versatile and synergistic, not exclusive of each other. Some "gurus" such as Scott (Owner of ALRi) purports that without a precise sequence and presence of EAAs in the cell simultaneously anabolism cannot be activated. I believed BCAAs are extremely beneficial, and I also like EAAs. I would take them in concert, as an intra-workout aid as I have always done. I remember when I lived in Arizona years ago, I would always take 2 water bottles to Gold's Gym, one with Leucine, GMS, and EAAs - and the other with creatine monohydrate, WMS (carbohydrate) and beta alanine.
