I really like to make chili with deer meat or 99% lean turkey to change it up some.

I really like to make chili with deer meat or 99% lean turkey to change it up some. Thats about the only change I make also, I just use a different protein source. I do use chunky tomato, and I found a low sodium chili powder at a health food store. Then I spice it more with cayenne. But I suck at writing down recipes, its all by trial and error....

Turkey Chili. It’ll only take about 15 minutes to cook this high-protein delight! It’ll have a minimal impact on your blood sugar at a glycemic load of just 6 for the whole meal, not bad. Calories – 538 Macronutrient Breakdown: * Protein – 64.5g * Carbs - 43g * Fat – 12g Ingredients: (1) 1/2 pound extra-lean ground turkey (mince) (2) 150g pinto or kidney beans (3) 1/2 bell pepper in strips or diced (4) 7 ounces/200 grams of chopped tomatoes (5) 1/2 cup water (4 fl. oz.) (6) 2 tbsp malt vinegar (7) 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (8) 8 grams chili powder/1.5 tsp, or more if you want it hot (9) 1/2 tsp salt or I prefer using sea salt myself (10) 1/2 cup grated low-fat cheese Instructions 1. Brown the turkey in a frying pan or griddle (presto!) 2. Now add the diced tomato, peppers, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, water, salt and chili powder 3. Stir 4. Now add your beans 5. Bring this to the boil for 5 minutes 6. Now turn down the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, 10 if you think the sauce isn’t thick enough Now go fetch the shovel out from the garage and get ready to chow down already I'm f****** hungry lets eat!

Also, I realize this is a thread for making a good lean chili here is a great protein/pudding desert it taste almost like cake....
2 scoops chocolate or vanilla "NF Pro" 1 tbsp sugar free & fat-free pudding mix (any flavor) a little water (3 tbsp)
Stir it up until it has the consistency of pudding and nuke in microwave for (about 60 seconds). Bill Cosby can't TOUCH this goodness!
