Where I'm from, deer hunting isn't like that at all. I am for taking ethical shots. If I have a doubt about whether it will be a kill shot, I don't take it. Hunting deer actually helps to preserve the population. If there are too many deer on or near a food plot, the smaller bucks and does will starve from the competition for food. I hope it isn't as bad as you say it is where you are from...that does break my heart if people harvest deer unethically.

Oh they SO do. It's disgusting. Whooping and shouting and getting drunk, these guys have NO aim whatsoever, I learned how to aim at age 7, my father was top sharp shooter in the National Guard, I'm Annie Oakley with a shot gun. These guys though, they're bastards. They find joy in killing. They think it's fun and funny when an animal is suffering. I grew up around men like that. It was like "who's phallus is bigger"? competition. It was all bravado and ego. I still see it, over and over again in my attempts to make hunting ethical with others like me. We understand about the population. But true hunting is meant to be an art, and a spiritual art at that. You must give thanks to the God who provides the animal, and thank the spirit of the animal who's life you're taking. These guys, they have no moral order or Higher Power. They just get off on being jerks.

Some just prefer to eat what they hunt rather than by cattle or chicken in a market. Venison is that type of taste that has to be aquired for sure. Real gamey tasting and not very pleasant unless cooked the right way.
Hunting any animal for fun is unethical but to hunt for food is very ethical.
Gen 1:29:30 And God said, "See, I have given you every herb [that] yields seed which [is] on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which [there is] life, every green herb for food"; and it was so.

Yes I agree with this. Hunting minimally for only as much as you need, giving thanks all the while, feeling compassion for the animal you are hunting, that it will have a moment of fear perhaps, pray that it doesn't, that the kill shot it instantaneous. It takes a real sharp shooter. But around here, and in other places I've been, it's been drunk pieces of filth who can't shoot worth crap, who wound the animal and track it by it's blood. Then they take joy in gutting it. All the while drinking beer and making jokes about the animal and it's pain. Oh, I've seen it far too often. I take a bit of joy when they're so drunk they end up shooting each other. Quite funny. Sorry bro, had too much Bud, now there's a cap in your ass. HA!

Well Dick Cheney did that once! lol HAHAHA yeah they were hunting quail, which if anyone knows the bird, it's not really a hunt. They can barely fly. How dumb do you have to be to shoot someone in the face? Oh man, that was so freaking funny.

Super lean. I used to be vegan so when I eat meat it's for the sole purpose of building lean mass, I don' t really enjoy it. When I'm done competing I'll go back to being vegan. Although Wendy's has it's benefits lol.
