I've always had somewhat of a competitive spirit, Throughout all stages of my life, I've always had to challenge myself in some sort of way. I've done several natural bodybuilding competitions, and I'm a formed professional arm wrestler, an endeavor that I paid the price for with some nasty injuries. Bodybuilding competitions always frustrated me because how political and subjective the judging could often be. A few years have now passed, and I've been feeling the burning itch to compete in something again. I've never tried a powerlifting meet before, so a couple weeks ago, I decided to sign up for my very first powerlifting meet. Due to certain injuries, I'm unable to bench as heavy as what I once could, but the one lift I can still do alright at is the deadlift. On April 14th, I will compete in the WABDL World Cup and compete in the dead-lift event. I've trained just for power before. I just began doing this about 1 month ago. here I will document my progress in this new endeavor as I prepare myself for the meet coming up in June. Attached is a video of my last deadlift session, in which I pulled a 565 lb. deadlift at 186 lbs. My main concern pulling such heavy weight-loads, is the fact that I'm void of an ACL, or any cartilage in my right knee. Actually I don't know if you can even call it a knee because the deformity in that particular knee that I was born with, makes the knee resemble more of a mass of pounded silly putty when viewed on an X-ray, than it does an actual knee. The knee is laterally misplaced to the side, and the bones are deformed to the point where I'm unable to qualify for the standard ACL replacement surgery. Anyways, that is the main challenge that I face in this new endeavor. I will continue to post updates as I progress. Here is the video of my last deadlifting session:

Thank you very much my friend! Very true, adversity can be a blessing as it helps build character and strengthens our will. Just as you put it, adversity can equal great inspiration when it is over-come.

I had a good debut competing in the WABDL World Cup on Saturday. Won first place dead-lifting in the 181-198 class, in both the sub-masters division and the mens class 1. I also earned the best lifter award for the sub-masters division. 1st attempt- completed 501.8, 2nd attempt completed 551.8, 3rd attempt completed 578.8 but the judges didn't count it because the bar hitched a little on my knee wraps during the ascent of the weight. Stiil set a WI state record in the sub-masters division, so I was happy with that considering this was my first time competing in a strength event. I have no regrets about competing in this event and I will be looking forward to stepping up my game and competing in a few more. I'm confident that my AA EFX supplement stack will continue to be effective in helping me reach new levels of strength in order to maximize my performance! I've been on this AA EFX stack for about 3 weeks now and to say that I'm happy with the results I've experienced so far would be an understatement!
