Back to posting! Been a little off the diet this week, it seems like a constant battle when I'm not training for a show to keep my diet clean. I am actually great about eating clean it's just portion control and late night carbs that I seem to struggle with. Always fighting to keep balance, I guess that's just life. Had an amazing chest workout today, looked like this:
CHEST/ABS-
FLAT BENCH PRESS...315 X 1, 335 X 1 hadn't put this much on in a while, got em both, MIGHT have been able to squeeze out 345-350. INCLINE DB FLYE...45 X 12, 55 X 12, 60 X 12 SMITH BENCH TO UPPER CHEST...225 X 12, 245 X 9, 275 X 6 INCLINE DB PRESS...75 X 12, 12 DB PULLOVER...75 X 12, 12 CABLE FLYE...2 X 10-12 DROP 6-8 MORE HANGING STRAIGHT LEG RAISE...1 X 23, 1 X 18 ROLLUPS...2 X 15 INCLINE BENT LEG HIP RAISE...2 X 15

Today has been a good day, accomplished things that have been on my "to do list" for waay too long... still a big list to go but feels good to get it started. Today's workout started out pretty lack luster but ended up pretty damn good.. until my back seized up.. but seems to be fine now. I'm learning how to deal with the joys of lower back pain...not cool!
BACK/CALVES-
-UH GRIP SMITH BENT ROWS...225 X 12, 12, 12 -WG PULLDOWNS...STACK X 12, 12 -1 ARM DB ROWS...75 X 15, 15 -BEHIND NECK PULLDOWNS/STIFF ARM PULLDOWNS...150 X 15/120 X 12 X 2 SETS -RACK DEADLIFTS...365 X 10, 405 X 9, 405 X 8 -HYPEREXTENSION DROP SET...MEDICINE BALL X 12 DROP BW X 8 -STANDING CALF RAISE...1 X 15, 1 X 12 -BENT LEG CALF PRESS...2 X 15* LAST SET W/ X REPS x MAX
15 MIN HIIT CARDIO
MY LOWER BACK SPASMED AND DROPPED MY TO THE GROUND MOMENTARILY AFTER MY FIRST SET OF CALVES, WENT TO THE HOT TUB AFTER WORKOUT AND IT'S ACTUALLY FEELING PRETTY GOOD NOW.

I'm learning how to deal with the joys of lower back pain...not cool! You know the saying .... it never hurt so good! Glad, you are working through it and sticking to your guns, bro. Keep it up !Also, I like what you said about keeping a "to do list" of things to get accomplished, I think it has some merit for all us who need to get more stuff done, while staying more organized. It's the simple things in life, which sometimes produce the greatest results and the most satisfaction; that's a great idea man.

BW- 186 Well, I haven't been dealing with the joys of lower back pain very well as you can tell by my lack of posting. I finally called my cousin, the guy that tackled me into the pool leaving me with this injury, and we talked and he opened a homeowners claim on the incident and I am going this week for a doctor visit and MRI so I can find out what's wrong and how to fix it. Amen! I really didn't know what I was going to do and was actually a pretty rough last couple months. But that's life, it's not always gonna be a calm sea, storms come you just gotta hold on through them and keep sailing when the water clears up. It looks like my water is smooth sailing ahead so I'd better get going! God bless.
