Been real busy at work lately and in the process of possibly buying a new house. Today worked some back and rear delts. Felt pretty strong. Last week went to hell in a hand basket. Got to train maybe 2-3 days at best. Wife was out of town and had to be home more for the dogs.

So I weigh in last week at 243? Thought the scale was broken so went again the next day, checked to make sure it was calibrated, and I was 241. WTF?!?!?!? Not sure the Shotgun/Synthesize has anything to do with it but I am actually looking leaner but the scale made a jump over the last 3 weeks to almost 9lbs gain. Obvisoulsly not all muscle and not really looking like I am holiding a lot of water....
any feedback?

Well it's been a month since posting. Work is crazy but we got new laptops to take home which makes my days longer but at least I am home. Still hovering at the 240-45 mark but in a good way. Finished taking the NO Shotgun/ Synthesize and I was pretty amazed at the results over a 60 day period. I'll take about a month off from that as I begin my Test Charge EFX cycle. Hoping I don't get any heavier on the scale! I can't afford the clothes shopping, lol
Have an offer on a new house and and hopefully we will hear soon. Goals for this new year is to do maybe 2 shows but more so, get myself back to 215 off season weight at 10%. Who knows, I may end up as a heavy weight this coming year instead of a light heavy. Scary.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Today it begins. Official weigh in was 244lbs this morning. Considering I got an unexpected 2 weeks off from the gym due to a Boston blizzard, I am hoping to drop down to at least 240 by next week with all the water weight I'm carrying from salty foods and feasting.
Next week I will begin my workout log in detail. My splits will be a 4 day bodypart week with a Friday abs/cardio misc day. Each body part will get a week off in this cycle. This week I will train 5 days just to get the entire body through the 2 week holiday rest.
Splits will look something like this: Mon - Back/Rear Delts Tue - Chest, medial, anterior delts Wed - Quads/calves Thurs - Bi/Tri Frid - abs, cardio, stretching.
As you can see there are no hams in this week but that is becuase the following Monday will be Hams and calves. so a M-Th bodypart workout is the main goal to keep myself healthy and getting enough rest to avoid the dreaded tendonitis I get quite often. Going to pray for a great year physically and I am possibly looking to get back on stage with the Tampa Bay Classic when the new dates come forth. Mostly I'll look at NPC but depnding on my year end schedule I may go for the NGA comp in Nov.
Goal right now is to start a slow process of losing fat for the next 8 weeks. Then if I choose the Classic I will do a 16 week pre contest diet. I prefer 16 weeks to give my body ample time to lose fat while retaining muscle along with being able to tighten the skin in time. Dropping 50 lbs typcially leaves a lot of loose skin in the lower ab region so my thoght process is to take a longer pre contest diet in hope it will tighten a bit.

Thanks RA! I know our timing is horrible! lol
Dave, I've spent more time playing poker than working on my diet log! lol Although I'd be quite wealthy right now if it were real money. We are planning a Vegas trip sometime this year so I'm hoping we'll get to finally meet!
Thanks for the encouragement guys! I figure the only way to truly get back the lean body is to set a goal and unfortunately for me it has to be a stage to motivate me. Don't want to look like Chris Farley in a mankinin!

Don't want to look like Chris Farley in a mankinin! My eyes! My eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA! just saying, lol Anyway today I trained quads and it's very unsual week for me. After a 2 week holiday nothing is really sore but man the going into week 2 of not training my shoulder ached and muscle twitches happened like crazy. Guess my body is so used to the training that they don't know what to do if not pushing or pulling something!
