Hello all. I got into the P/RR/S program last year and I gained more muscle than I ever had. My only problem was that my diet was not where it should have been and I wasnt as cut as I wanted to be. It was weird to have friends ask me if I was on steroids because I got pretty big (of course, answer is no). Anyway, this year I decided to lean out and one way was lay off weights a bit and train for a marathon. My wife and I were lucky to be chosen for the New York City Marathon on Nov. 7th. We can wait and are ready for it. We are currently tapering our training and looking forward to the big day. Well, I am currently the leanest I have ever been. Part of it is also my diet. I discovered the Anabolic Diet and I absolutely love it. So, my goal after the marathon is to get back into P/RR/S. I think with how lean I am, my new diet and P/RR/S I may even consider competing next year. I cant wait to get back into it. I still have been weight training, but just to maintain what muscle I have while I train for the marathon. Of course, once I get back into weight training, I will decrease my running. However, I love running too much so not sure how much I will decrease that. Anyway, I just discovered this forum and am looking forward to corresponding with everyone out there who know how great this program is. November 9th will be the day I jump right back into the program. This is great stuff and I want to thank you for your kind words! Please stick around and become a good friend of this community! Eric, I a man who likes to get stuff done NOW, and I could not wait until after the marathon to re-start P/RR/S so Im back in and feeling great and already getting pumped since last thursday. Its amazing. I have a question for you: Ive done some 10x10 workouts before and they were intense and gave me an incredible pump. Is it ok to use 10x10 on Shock Week? I appreciate your response.

I lurked for a while and now I officially "joined". Me and my friend just did a cycle of P/RR/S and saw amazing results. I will post our results as soon as I get his notebook. A good guess would be in the 20-30 percent range in strength gains

Thanks for reading and I'm looking forward to "meeting" some new people here.

Hi all, my name is CArmine, I live in boston, Massachusetts. Just turned 50 few months ago and went back to the gym after a good 15 years layoff.... Have lost plenty of fat and gained some muscle in the past 5 months, teh net affect was a drop of 35 pounds....
Mhy goal is to be around 190 and around 14% bodyfat, not looking to be riped, just good muscle separation and yes, get my 6 pack back.
I am 5'9", weigh in at 215 right now. Been a struggle with information overload, I found the PRRS system recently thru some other forums and wa most comfortable with it's system. I had been doing the various things like super sets, 75-100 rep sets (for calves for instance) rest pause, X reps, POS, etc... but I was doing too much al the time.... I will be starting my PRRS system this week, looking forward to getting it done right this time.
I am hear to listen and learn and if I have an opinion that helps, I'll try to give that too for whatever it is worth.
btw Blade, love your signature.

The Famous timberland boots People Players was founded on June 1, Dorothea Pirollo 1974 by Diane Dupuy of Hamilton. At inception, the company consisted of Dupuy and an assistant, eleven performers, and Dupuy's mother Mary Thornton; Thornton designed and built the costumes and props. The timberland mens boots company's original piece was Aruba Liberace, in which a life-size character of Liberace plays the piano. It is still the company's signature performance. Liberace attended a showing of Aruba Liberace, and was so impressed he invited Famous mens timberland boots People Players to perform with him in Las Vegas. The company debuted in Las Vegas in October 1975; over the subsequent ten years, the company performed with Liberace both in Las Vegas and internationally. A 1984 CBS television movie was made about Dupuy's early work and meeting Liberace called Special People. The CBC produced and aired Carnival of the cheap timberland boots Animals as a result of the increasing popularity of Famous People Players. In 1982, Famous People Players was invited to perform in the People's Republic of China. In 1994, the company opened the Dine and Dream Theatre; Paul Newman funded the restaurant's discount timberland boots development from some of the proceeds of Newman's Own products and Phil Collins funded the theatre's sound system.

Hey guys - Name is Charlie - New to the boards from San Diego. Found the PRRS program on BB.com and wanted to give it a shot. I've been training for 8 years but only seriously now for 4 years, using All Pro's programs and GST.
I'm looking to take the next step in my training and PRRS looks like the way to go for me. I just finished modifying my program from the available template with a 3 day split and I'll be attacking it starting Sunday!
Looking forward to learning and growing!

So happy to find the site. 43 yrs old, had great success w/PRRS 6 years ago when it was big in Ironman. After many years of lifting have recently hit a big case of "workout ADD" and of course this routine satisfies that well. Possibly to my detriment I've been reading too much from Eric's fellow authors from Ironman who are heavily pushing much lighter weight with higher volume for anyone over 40. Not bad, but not sure if i've let it negatively influence my lifting and scaring me away from heavy lifting.
Any 40 and over lifters out here still going hard with PRRS?
