After a cycle of FD/FS, how do you go back into P/RR/S? Take off a week or go right into Power? Anyone want to chime in? When I discussed this same thing with Eric, i believe he suggested a RR wk, due to the CNS takes a beating from FD/FS. He'll chime in when he can, i think the big boy is a busy beaver these days! ;D Great advice!

Hi guys, I'm back. Hope all is well w/ you all.
But let me get straight to it. My question is this, do you add fd/fs to p/rr/s so it would be a 4 week cycle or do you replace it like say 1 cycle is p/rr/s then the next cycle would be fd/fs/rr/s? What do you guys think and what have you been doing individually?
Personally, I think fd/fs would be a good "upgrade" if you will, of shock week, what do you guys think?

I have used it in both ways actually. I think if your goal is to put on as much size as you can in a short period of time, its great to run for 3-4 weeks straight. If your goal is a more gradual gain, incorporation into P/RR/S works well. I am currently doing P/RR/FDFS/S, but let me just tell you, FDFS is TOUGH! T

I personally get burnt out if I run FDFS for more than 2 weeks. I put so much effort into FDFS that I think my CNS just says "no more," after 2 weeks.
There is no set rule here, so you will have to find what works for you. It certainly CAN be used in place of SHOCK week in some cycles, which is a trick I gave to Tank a while back.
The only advice I will give that you should stick to is to still make PRRS the backbone of your program and use FDFS as short blitzes.

It worked great btw, i'm in the middle of a rr/sh phase 4 wks, one hybrid then back for more FD/FS....

Those are the basic tempo parameters, although you can experiment here and there by a second or two. The high rep exercises should be done in a "piston-like" manner for maximum pump. I took this off from MD cause i thought it was a great post !When i first started FD/FS i followed it pretty much right to a T, now i'm in the tweaking stage of things.I played with the tempos, going with lighter wt and playing with the negative and pause portions, all i can say is Tank is a happy camper! Also, last wk while feeling frisky..LOL, i went lots heavier, shortend the negs and pauses and got another great feel from this as well! All i can say is Eric is a mad man!!!! ;D

I want to try this system because I never give up, I never back down, I love a challenge, and I never put my head down! It sounds like I would love this haha! But I just started PRRS, when should I try this. after 3 cycles(9 weeks) of PRRS and a week off before starting FD/FS?

I did 4 cycles of PRRS and then 2 weeks of FDFS and then a week off and it worked well for me that way...

is FD/FS designed to be utilized during your Power week workouts only or can it be used during RR & S as well?

is FD/FS designed to be utilized during your Power week workouts only or can it be used during RR & S as well? It can be used in a variety of ways. The first way that I tried it was as a stand alone training system for 2-4 weeks, for example all of my workouts for that period of time were FD/FS workouts. I have since incorporated FD/FS weeks into P/RR/S at various points....you can always mix things up, like P/RR/FDFS/S, P/FDFS/RR/ S, etc.

I'm just wrapping up my fourth and final week of FDFS... I'm eating for mass as recommended, also using the recommended pre-during-post doses of protein, waxy maize BCAA's, EAA's and creatine, Alanine etc...
Let me just say for all the other "average joes" like me:
1) This is the shit. Seriously... this is probably my best four weeks of growth. 2) It kicked my ass. Physically AND Mentally... coming off those leg days... yeow. One of the weeks real life basically made me go through the week with no off days... holy hell by the end of that. 3) THANKS again to Eric for a brilliant approach.
