The first week is done. All the power I can feel already coursing through my veins. I had to get used to lifting with less reps, but I always try to use as heavy poundage as possible even when dieting down for a contest prep. So far from the first week and now getting ready to wrap up things for the second week I can honestly say that I feel really good, all the workouts couldn't of gone any better. I'm ready to grow here folks, so let's get it on! I have noticed a very steady pump throughout all of the workouts and an excellent mind and muscle connection starting to be established here, so that is great considering all the workouts in the past have always been merely to rip-it-up and hit em' heavy a** weights, wait a second here you know what I am still lifting some heavy a** weights, go figure!.... lol I usually workout in the morning like today for example I trained back and abs it felt pretty good. I always prefer to do the back workouts generally more then most of all muscle groups, so for me it was fun.... well sort of.... As far as me addressing doing more cardio sessions, if I really needed to get in more cardio sessions then I would simply drop the Tuesday and Thursday workout (legs & back) and perform legs in conjunction with the back workout to be done instead on the SAME day in this case scenario it would be on a Wednesday. So this essentially will help free up both Tuesday and Thursday to get in more cardio as I get closer to a show. That's it for now, but I will be sure to keep everyone updated. Best.

Ok, so I finished the second week now of the P/RR/S cycle! It was great to not have to be doing the same sort of thing all week and every week. I noticed the more you stick with it, the more you almost crave it in a way like when Tyrone Biggs scratches his neck (An outrageous skit from the hilarious Dave Chappelle Show) needs a hit-from-a ROCK....lol On a serious note, I really like the pumps I have been receiving from all the workouts. I trained the delts today and once again I had to drop the weight for sake of keeping a good cadence of the reps, and lifting tempo. Needless to say it was still a very good workout, and I can feel it as well in my traps, triceps, and calves. Phew, while I would not superstitiously venerate form to the sacrifice of substance, neither would I forget that to always keep a strict adherence to correct utilization of all its protocols for P/RR/S along with the training perimeters, therefore I simply refuse to sacrifice form with our good old' EGO.... Just give me proper technique anytime of the day vs cheating or robbing myself out of success. I also think Mr. Broser he seems to be a very affable and genuinely a nice person to converse with and talk up with about concepts, or training, or diet/supplement strategies. This is a rare-breed to say the least considering the fact most of the so called fitness or diet gurus out their they all seem to more focused on other stuff (Not to mention will charge an arm or a leg, plus the t-shirt off your own back!) before they even bother to get off their lazy a**** to respond to you, only now apparently it seems to be approaching a new all-time record for the ONE-thousandth of emails or sent messages.... lol So without getting to carried away here, I believe Mr. Broser he is absolutely 100% correct when stating that you don't really need a great amount of weight during the rep range week in order to achieve a supremely effective workout all providing you bring your A-GAME and MAXIMAL EFFORTS. This being my second week now I will go and rest up for the third week to come (SHOCK WEEK), oh' ya SUCKA.... BRING IT ON!

Preparing for the gym tomorrow, I already have the workout schedule ready to try out. You can probably say it is a safe bet to assume that I like to workout on the morning shift....lol
It just works out this way for whatever reason, but I really don't mind it since I have been doing this for a while now. I'll keep everyone informed about how all the workouts have been going throughout the week. Also, before I forget to mention it that I have been throwing in another cardio session in on the recumbent bike on Sundays when I get up in the morning to burn a little bit more calories, that's it for now. Best.

I did legs yesterday and for the first time in a while doing everything so far this week in a superset fashion it is challenging to say the least.... I guess that is WHY it is properly titled " shock" week, oh how sore I am right now, I mean that in a good way.lol I do back tomorrow, call me a cab home in advanced because I know I will be too tired to drive. I'll be sure to keep you all updated. Beye for now, best.

Very pleased about this week and all the workouts. I did all the scheduled superests, reps, lifting tempo, you name it etc. and followed the prescribed protocol. All-in-all it wasn't too shabby of a week, although I will admit right now I look forward to hitting the HEAVY weights next week since it is my favorite of the 3-week cycle. Anyways, now I am off to have me sum' lunch.... as John McCarthy would say BRING IT ON ! On today's lunch menu it is going to be some brown rice, veggies, and chicken topped with a dollop of a delicious honey mustard recipe I read it recently was mentioned by hossjob in the P/RR/S MEMBERS RECIPE BOOK, you really gotta' try it!

Looking good in here! Keep pushing that PRRS... the greatest isn't it?! Yes for sure bro, and thanks for checking out my little P/RR/S log, or footnotes, or whatever you like to call this sort of thing I simply call it my one-step-VENTING station....lol I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to read my progress so far, I am hitting it with absolute maximal efforts and intensity inside the gym and while following a strict nutrition plan, but you know what now after your encouragement it makes me want to strive even more to do better and get me lifting some REAL heavy a** weight.... its time to get INTO THE ZONE BABY! I’m not a complete idiot, some parts are missing.

I had a good workout today, did it up heavy of course. I feel great the strength is good and my form (lifting tempo) is much more improved since the previous "POWER" week, I am pretty sure that I finally got this stuff down like a knack already baby, its a wrecking-ball swinging here & time to smash THOSE plates! I do legs tomorrow, so lets get jiggly with it....

I did legs today.... all-in-all everything seem to go over pretty well, but I'm so tired as s***! I particularly enjoyed the barbell lunges I recently decided to incorporate them into the different cycles. I can feel it working for me, so we'll have to wait and see the results. I also did the hack squats today and man do I feel it! usually I prefer it best just doing the squats with a smith machine or I will instead simply do the leg press. Anyways it felt like a good workout and the veins are spread out like a road-map on my quads, so it is all good for sure. That's it for now, but you know me I'll keep everyone updated. Best.

Have fun!! Yes, this is so very true. I enjoy a good back workout as well. Actually I just got back from the gym. It is becoming all so abundantly clear to me now P/RR/S I love it, but I hate it....lol Seriously it has never hurt so good before! I had a great workout all in all no-complaints, except for maybe on the next POWER week I will do my workout outside and using a strict lifting cadence simply PRESS THE WHOLE GYM, can you feel THAT lactic acid build up now baby! I would definitely say that I did pretty good overall, I like doing the rack pulls (lifted 480x6 which is probably my best attempt so far) so it was a good session today. I hit the delts and triceps, calves on tomorrows workout. See all of you over at the curling rack, lets get after it!

I just got home from the gym and immediately before even relaxing downed me a big tasty NF-PRO shake and kre-alkaline. I trained my delts & triceps, calves today, all I can say is.... holy s*** ! A tough workout, but a good workout. I had to lighten the load on the DB side laterals (don't want to sacrifice too much of my form versus struggling to lifting some crazy poundage) to keep a good cadence with lifting tempo. I have to admit I am really looking forward to having a weekend of rest & recovery because I definitely need it for sure. That's it another POWER week finished, now its time to grow.... BRING ON THE GRUB !
